While not official until a December 2018 implementation, 7 Dunecrest and its neighbor 6 Dunecrest have been determined to not be in a flood zone. Their risk is minimal with a Flood Zone X rating, an area outside the 500-year flood zone risk, or .02%. Previously 7 Dunecrest was zoned AO 2 which was a 2% or 50-year risk for 2 feet or less. Flood insurance is not required but if purchased would be at a low cost.
